Thomas Vetter is leading SAP’s C/4HANA Suite development organization, SAP’s vision for a fourth generation CRM. In his role Thomas is responsible to deliver C/4HANA as a Suite fully integrated in SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise.

From 2011 – 2018 Thomas was head of the global Product Management and Development for Consumer Industries including Retail, Consumer Products, Life Science and Wholesale.

Thomas joined SAP in 1994. After starting in the mainframe R/2 development he headed the ERP global development team in the area of Finance and Controlling applications from 1998 onwards. In 2009 he moved to India to manage SAP India’s ByDesign application development. Thomas represents SAP at the „Arbeitskreis Organisation der Schmalenbachgesesllschaft“ a respected German non-profit research organization. In this function he has co-authored a number of publications on organizational topics.

Thomas Vetter got his PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Giessen in Germany after spending research years at University of Washington, Seattle and University of California, Berkeley.
